1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ereceipts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ereceipts is a receipt formatting, tracking, and compliance assistance platform for Filipino freelancers, virtual assistants, and small businesses. The Service helps users prepare BIR-formatted receipt PDFs and track receipt sequences.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not a Legal Receipt Issuer

ereceipts does NOT issue Official Receipts (ORs) and does NOT generate legal OR numbers.

You remain solely responsible for:

  • Your BIR registration and Certificate of Registration (COR)
  • Obtaining an Authority to Print (ATP) from BIR
  • Assigning correct OR numbers from your BIR-approved series
  • The accuracy of all information entered into the platform
  • Compliance with all applicable BIR regulations and the NIRC

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Philippine law to use ereceipts. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and using the Service.
  • You must not share your account with other individuals or businesses (except on Agency plan with team member seats).

6. Subscription and Payment

  • ereceipts offers paid subscription plans billed monthly.
  • Payments are processed via PayMongo. By subscribing, you agree to PayMongo's terms of service.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.

7. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using paid features. Trial accounts have access to Starter plan features.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ereceipts to:

  • Create fraudulent or falsified receipts
  • Misrepresent your BIR registration status
  • Violate any applicable Philippine law or BIR regulation
  • Attempt to circumvent the platform's security measures
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You own your data. We will not sell or share your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability. We are not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.

11. Intellectual Property

The ereceipts platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by ereceipts and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, ereceipts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to BIR penalties, audit findings, or tax assessments resulting from information entered into the platform.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, you may export your receipt data within 30 days.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
